2 weeks old!

Yesterday Katelyn went in for her 2 week appointment. She now weighs 6 lbs. 15 oz. and is 19.9 inches long. The doctors were very happy with progress and mommy was very proud! Despite all of her progress, Katelyn was still in the 25th percentile... but the doctor explained this is normal because her parents aren't exactly giants. Grandma and Grandpa Foster call her a "little peanut". After her doctors appointment, Katelyn got to go out to Chili's to celebrate daddy's 24th birthday. The excitement must have gotten to her, because she slept through the whole thing! Anyways, the Illig family is off to a great start and we are enjoying watching our little one grow. What a blessing!
